Meet Our Underdogs!

Meet Lola

Lola is currently in foster care - if you are interested in meeting Lola please fill out this inquiry form and a member of MSPCA foster team will be in touch to coordinate a meet up!

Lola is a sweet older gal who loves going on sniffy walks with her humans or with her calm dog friends. This girl truly enjoys hanging out with her people. And she especially loves getting butt scratches from her close friends. Lola is also a smart girl. She knows sit, lay down and paw. Just ask her to show you! Even though she is a bit older, this good girl loves to play fetch. Did we mention that she is house trained? Lola was finding the shelter to be a scary place. She is now hoping for adopters who will start off by keeping her world small and safe as she decompresses. Lola would prefer not to live with another dog. However, some well matched dog friends would probably work. She could possibly live with a cat using a managed introduction. And children who can watch Lola's body language would be best. This very good girl is looking for her forever home. Is she the dog for you?

Meet Kingston

Kingston is currently in foster care - if you are interested in meeting Kingston please fill out this inquiry form and a member of MSPCA foster team will be in touch to coordinate a meet up!

Meet Kingston a distinguished older gentleman with just the right amount of gray on his muzzle and a twinkle of mischief still in his eye. Do not let his age fool you Kingston may be a senior, but he has still got plenty of pep in his step and a love for life that shines through in every wag of his tail. He is currently brushing up on his manners and would thrive with a patient, experienced human who appreciates the charm of a seasoned companion. Kingston has a history of living with a cat, however he can be a bit particular about his canine company, so he's best suited to a home where he can pick his friends wisely and at his own pace.

Let's Talk About Pets!

Cityside Subaru is a proud supporter of Subaru Loves Pets!

This year we are honored to be partnering with MSPCA-Angell Boston!  MSPCA-Angell Boston has been very busy yet still has animals looking for their furever homes.

Cityside Subaru initially began our work with pet adoption in 2005.  In the local community, we have provided over $150,000 in funding and in excess of $20,000 in pet supplies through our annual on-location and virtual adoption events.

Simply fill out the form below if you are interested in learning more about our furry friends.

More Ways To LOVE Pets!

Getting involved is easy. We know your phone is full of photos of your furry friends…ours, too. All you have to do is post! Throughout the month of October, post a public photo or video of your pet on Facebook, Instagram, X, or TikTok using the hashtag #SNELovesPets. In celebration of 10 years of helping our furry friends through #SNELovesPets, we're pledging $10 per unique post to give every post more power! Our goal is to hit a total 15,000 (or more!) pet posts using #SNELovesPets, which will ensure each shelter receives $6,250!

For Subaru of New England, this campaign is about more than just raising funds - it's about spreading the word for the animals we love. With your help, we can raise awareness and make sure shelter pets get the care, love, and forever homes they deserve.

How Can You Help?

There are many ways individuals can help animals in need.  Here are some impactful actions you can take:

  • Adopt, Don't Shop: Consider adopting a pet from a shelter or rescue organization instead of buying from a breeder or pet store.
  • Volunteer: Offer your time at local animal shelters or rescue groups. Tasks can range from walking dogs to helping with administrative work.
  • Donate: Financial contributions, pet food, supplies, or even old blankets and towels can make a big difference.
  • Foster: Provide a temporary home for animals in need, helping them transition from shelters to permanent homes.
  • Advocate: Raise awareness about animal welfare issues in your community and support legislation that protects animals.
  • Educate: Teach others about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying/neutering pets to control the animal population.
  • Report Abuse: If you witness animal cruelty or neglect, report it to local authorities or animal control.
  • Support Ethical Brands: Choose products from companies that prioritize animal welfare and avoid those that test on animals.

  • Every small action can contribute to a larger impact in improving the lives of animals. 🐾
