Service Technician Responsibilities at Cityside Subaru

When you receive repair orders from the dispatcher, you will take customer vehicles to the stall area. Once there, you will need to perform the service or repair outlined in the repair order. As you do so, you will need to follow factory and dealership standards, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations that govern service repair work. As you work, you will need to follow safety and housekeeping policies, including keeping customer vehicles clean.

Your work as a technician will consist of a wide variety of services. You may simply need to perform minor maintenance, or you may need to diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and then perform the authorized repair. As you perform service, you must document the work that you do. You will also need to keep in touch with the parts department and the service advisors.

As a technician at Cityside Subaru, you will also be expected to attend regular training classes and to keep abreast of new technical bulletins from the factory.
