Working in conjunction with EyeSight®, the standard DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System*, new for 2024, is like having an attentive co-pilot along for the ride, available to give a helpful alert if a driver becomes distracted or drowsy. This system is designed to enhance the effectiveness of other safety systems while also increasing passenger safety within the vehicle. If its steering column-mounted camera detects a distracted, drowsy, or incapacitated driver, it will provide an alert. DriverFocus® also combines with other safety systems, such as Emergency Driving Stop System, by allowing them to intervene earlier when necessary. Front Cross-Traffic Alert, also new for 2024, watches for unexpected traffic from either side and can alert you to approaching vehicles - including those that may not be visible from the driver's seat.
